Fr. Thom was born and was raised in LaSalle (near Windsor). He has two older brothers and one younger brother.
He was ordained in 1992 and immediately assigned as Associate Pastor at Saint Gregory Church (Good Shepherd) in Tecumseh, Ontario. He has also served in other parishes across the diocese, including at Saint Patrick, Lucan over 20 years ago.
Fr. Steve, originally from Windsor, came to Saint Patrick Parish, Lucan in July 2021. Prior to that, he served at Saint Peter’s Seminary for twenty years where he taught and served as spiritual director for seminarians and lay students. During his last ten years at the seminary, he served as Rector.
We are so blessed to have him guide and shepherd us here at Lucan Northwest London Catholic Family of Parishes as one of our Associate Pastors.
Fr. Matthew came to our Family of Parishes in July 2024. He was recently-ordained at the end of April 2024. Fr. Matthew was born and raised in Mitchell, Ontario and grew up playing a multitude of sports, with hockey and basketball becoming his favourites. Fr. Matthew also developed a love of the theatre in high school.
Fr. Matthew is very excited to share his love for the Lord and His Church with the people of God and he is very excited to serve the Lucan Northwest London Catholic Family of Parishes as one of our Associate Pastors.
Deacon Jim is part of the Preaching Team with Fr. Thom, Fr. Steve, and Fr. Matthew. He also works in supporting the various ministries at the Family of Parishes.
Leads the congregation in Praise and Worship at Sunday 2:00pm Masses. Songs of praise and short biblical reflections set the tone before Mass to encourage discipleship, community, and hearts ready for worship.
Leads the choir and congregation in worship at the 5:00pm Saturday evening Mass at Holy Family Parish. Contemporary and some praise and worship music. Also coaches selected cantors as required each week for the Psalms.
Assists the Pastor by managing the temporal/business functions of the parishes within the Family. Tim works collaboratively with the Pastor, staff, volunteers, committees, and Diocesan Centre staff, while overseeing the financial, human resources, building and property, administration, and fund development functions for the Family of Parishes.
Tim is a member of the Senior Leadership Team, which supports and advises Fr. Thom.
Helping leaders, staff, and volunteers become formed as disciples. Supports staff and ministries with programs, resources, and leadership development such as the Lighthouse Disciple-making Formation Process, Alpha, Bible Study, and Life Groups.
Erwin is a member of the Senior Leadership Team, which supports and advises Fr. Thom.
Responsible for registering new parishioners and maintaining the Parish database. Assists with scheduling liturgy volunteers with Ministry Scheduler Pro, and general office assistance.
Claudette works part-time, Tues/Wed/Thurs 9am-1pm.
Organist and pianist responsible for leading and planning the music for the Sunday morning and weekday Masses, funerals, weddings, and other liturgies. Emer also coaches and coordinates the cantors for these liturgical celebrations.
Tina leads the Bereavement Team at Saint Patrick Parish
Deacon Victor is part of the Preaching Team with Fr. Thom, Fr. Steve, and Fr. Matthew. He also works in supporting the various ministries at the Family of Parishes.
Responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping of both Parishes, including payroll, accounts payable, database management and keeping the lights on! Works directly with administration at both Saint Patrick and Holy Family Parishes. Janet works part-time for our Family of Parishes.
Responsible for the digital media needs and outreach of the Family of Parishes, including livestreaming and technology.
Responsible for pastoral support to our parish priests and discipleship formation programming. Leads the Bereavement Ministry, provides pastoral support for Funerals, Weddings, and Communion to those who are home-bound. As well as processing Mass requests, office reports, assisting liturgical ministries, and manages the parish facility bookings.
Assists families in preparing their children to receive the blessed sacraments including Baptism, First Holy Communion, First Reconciliation, and Confirmation. Lisa leads those in their faith journey through R.C.I.A. (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults). Lisa is also the liaison for our family of schools.
Assists the Family of Parishes with the week-to-week preparation of digital media assets for communication.
Rachael also organizes our Family of Parishes Summer Camps.

Family of Parishes Pastoral Council
The family of parishes pastoral council is formed to ensure that the mission of the Family of Parishes and the mission (pastoral plan) of the diocese are addressed. It is also imperative that the parish pastoral council be seen as acting as a source of unity for the Family of Parishes. To do so, it will be important to focus on the mission of the Church and work towards the common good of the Family.
At the Lucan Northwest London Catholic Family of Parishes, the Pastoral Council works closely with the Pastor and the Senior Leadership Team.
