INTERCESSORY PRAYER GROUP

We Believe in the Power of Prayer.

“The Spirit helps us in our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but that very Spirit intercedes… for the saints according to the will of God”

Romans 8:26-27

Who we are…

We are a group of prayer partners open to the gifts of the Holy Spirit. We pray for our priests, our parishioners, their families and friends, as well as our personal needs and those of our Catholic Church and of the whole world.

We are searching for people of faith and humility, with a great desire to grow in their love for our Lord and His Blessed Mother and want to pray with us for the many intentions that cry for our prayers.

We are a group that cherishes our love for one another. Our respect for one another extends to complete confidentiality regarding all that is shared, that takes place and is prayed for at our prayer meetings.

We are not a discussion group. We do not gather to solve personal problems or discuss world issues. But we can and do pray for personal needs if requested. What and who we pray for stays in our prayer group.

We are encouraged to surrender our lives to the care of our Lord and His Blessed Mother.

Even though it would not be necessary, persons who have taken the “Life in the Spirit ” Seminars, or “Alpha” could better understand what we are about. However, at least an appreciation for the spiritual gifts (read 1 Cor. 14) would be helpful.

Our prayer meetings are open to the gift of tongues, prophecy, a word of knowledge, scripture, etc. We all gather and allow ourselves to be led by the Holy Spirit.

When We Gather

Every Wednesday

We gather every Wednesday after lunch at 12:30 pm in the Mother of Peace room for song, praise, prophetic/scriptural messages, intercessory prayer, and thanksgiving.

.If you feel the Lord is calling you to join us, “…please introduce yourself first to one of the Leadership Team members and feel free to ask questions before attending the prayer meeting.”
