What does a Lector do?
The Liturgy of the Word is the time during the Mass in which we reflect on how God speaks to us through the Sacred Scriptures. The mission of the Lector is to encourage the faith of the parishioners and inspire them to discipleship by proclaiming the Word of the Lord with clarity and conviction.
Altar Servers
Altar Server Information meeting for child and parent – Saturday October 19th at 3:30pm at Holy Family in the Church. Come and learn about expectations and schedules of Altar Servers. What is an Altar Server?
Altar serving is a vital part of the liturgical ministry. As an Altar Server, you are involved in the most sacred events of worship. You assist the priest, to make the worship more reverent and beautiful. Altar serving is a great opportunity to increase your faith and knowledge of the Mass.
